Our Hotel Glockenhof welcomes you on your cycling tour through Thuringia. We are a bed-and-bike guesthouse and thus a certified partner of the ADFC.
As a hotel, we therefore fulfil certain criteria in order to offer cyclists the best possible comfort on their tours. During your stay, you can safely store your bikes in a lockable bicycle garage. We will also be happy to put you in touch with a good nearby bike repair shop if you need it, and if you get a little wet on the way to us, you will have the opportunity to dry your equipment here.

Have you always wanted to explore Thuringia by bike? With us at Hotel Glockenhof, you have the opportunity to take guided e-bike tours. But also if you want to explore our beautiful Eisenach and surroundings on your own, you have the possibility to rent e-bikes.
We work together with the "Radstube" in Eisenach to guarantee you the best service and quality. The "Radstube" offers various guided tours, which you can book at our reception. There is of course something for everyone - whether beginner, advanced or even with a mix of bike and boat. We ensure variety and action in your holiday!

Of course, the e-bikes can also be rented from our bicycle partner. Whether for private tours or with a guide through beautiful Thuringia, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone.
Cycling tours
Around Eisenach you will find many different cycle paths, we have briefly summarised the most beautiful ones for you:
The Hercules-Wartburg Cycle Route connects two great UNESCO heritage landmarks - the Hercules in Kassel and the Wartburg in Eisenach. In the process, you cross the former inner-German border by bike.
The Thuringian Town Chain, for example, links seven of Thuringia's most beautiful towns over a distance of 230 kilometres. The route is linked to Germany's long-distance cycle path network and connects the towns of Eisenach and Altenburg.
To get from Eisenach to Erfurt in the state capital, the best route is the Nessetal cycle path. From Kindel airfield, the former railway line leads through picturesque landscapes, past small villages and colourful meadows, through Gotha to the flower city of Erfurt.
